Willie Peterman Tribute to feature Twin Races for Front Wheel Drive Cars

Former Linda’s Speedway Thunder Car feature winner Willie Peterman passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the age of 44. He was the husband of Brandy Peterman who also is a former Linda’s Speedway winner in the ladies division.

When Willie Peterman went to victory lane at the speedway he did so in a front wheel drive car.

Willie and Brandy welcomed two sets of twins following their racing careers are Linda’s Speedway.

With those two thoughts in mind the speedway has added twin 15 lap feature races to be part of the Willie Peterman Tribute night on Friday, Aug 19th.

Linda’s Speedway Front Wheel Drive rules will be in effect and can be found on LindasSpeedway.com.

The overall winner of this race will be locked into the feature starting line up for the Open 4 Cyl race on Friday Sept 30.

Willie, along with his wife, owned and operated Peterman Bothers in Bethel. He was a member of the Carlisle Church of God where he served on the church board. He loved hunting and fishing, spending time on his boat and being in the outdoors. He especially loved his wife, his sons David, Jonathan, Shane, Billy, Willie and his wife Miranda and spending time with them.

Pit gates open at 5 and grandstands open at 5:30. Practice starts at 7 followed by racing on Friday night. General Admission is just $5 weekly at the races.
