There is a 27 lap feature race coming soon in Jonestown, Pa at Linda’s Speedway with a 27 car field.Over $3000 in purse money will be on the line. It’s all going to happen on Sept 25, 2020 for Brandon Hawkins.

The “The Hawk” at Linda’s Speedway will be run in Memory of Brandon Hawkins who was tragically taken from us in a work accident this summer, just one day after his 26th birthday. Brandon was a 2012 graduate of Kiski Highschool and was a certified underwater welder. He was a member of the Laborers' Union Local 952. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his son, Maverick. There is nothing that Brandon did not excel at; he was an outstanding father and sprint car racer.

“When you’re a racer and that is in your blood and you grew up going to any dirt track — when it comes down to it, that family is a family you will always have,” said David Hawkins, Brandon’s father.
