National Open 32 This Weekend
Another stout field of Micro Sprint will converge on Linda’s Speedway this weekend for the 32nd running of the National Open.
The 270 and Wingless 600 Micro Sprints will take center stage in one of the biggest Micro Sprint events of the season searching for well over $20,000 in prize money through the two day event.
Friday night, October 15, the 270 Micro Sprints will run time trials plus the annual Race of Champions that is open to any 2021 track champion. The 600 Micro Sprints will run Time Trials and then compete in their heat races to set the feature field and alphabet mains for Saturday.
Saturday, October 16, The 270 Micro Sprints will run their heat races and alphabet mains to set the starting line up for the $3,200 to win 40 lap National Open event. The 600 Micro Sprints will complete their starting field with the alphabet mains and then compete in their $3,000 to win 40 lap A Main.
Friday night Pit Gates open at 4:00 with Grandstands at 5:30 and Hot Laps starting at 6:30.
On Saturday Pit Gates will open at 4:00 and Grandstands at 4:30 with Hot Laps at 6:00.
Parking spots from the 2021 season will be held for pre-registered cars but outside of those racers arriving trailers will be parks as they come into the pit area.
Grandstand admission to the event will be $5 per day and pit passes will be $25.
