Linda's Speedway partners with National Racing Network in 2021
Back for 2021 Linda’s Speedway will feature a radio broadcast of the racing on a weekly basis.
“We started with a pretty simple radio broadcast when we laughed an online listening source many years ago,” said Michael Batz of Linda’s Speedway. “We wanted to get back to that and make sure what we are putting out is easy to use, reliable and consistent. I know everyone likes video, but I enjoy the Dirtvision idea of free audio and if you are hoping to see it, you’re going to have to be there live. We are going to team with the National Racing Network. I feel like Chris and his team gives us the best opportunity to produce a good weekly program. We put a lot of irons in the fire each week. This partnership will give some of the detail work to NRN and Kasey (Kreider) to handle and I believe that will help it run smoother than this year.”
Chris Grahm from the National Racing Network agree with going for the radio broadcast over a video at this point in time. “2020 proved to be such a massive hardship for our partner tracks and their race teams,” said Grahm. He continued “It more important than ever to have fans in the stands, and this is the perfect way to accomplish the dual goals of increasing awareness and ensuring the best possible crowd comes through the gates."
"We have a fantastic show from the National Open last season, and can't wait to get back to one of our favorite tracks. Linda's will be our live video race of the week several times this season for sure."
The National Racing Network will be linked directly off of LindasSpeedway.com.
For many years Linda’s Speedway has been known as the family affordable race track offering the best deal in auto racing for any race fan. A strong schedule with numerous must-see events will offer a little something for everyone.
Practice will start at 7 followed by racing on most Friday nights during the summer. Pit Admission will be $25 and grandstand admission will be $5.
