George Eash to be 2022 Linda’s Speedway Tribute Honoree


Linda’s Speedway has provided an opportunity to showcase stock car racing in the Lebanon Valley over five decades. On September 16 the speedway to pay tribute to one of the areas stock car racers, George Eash.


Fredericksburg’s George Eash rarely competed at Linda’s Speedway, but his influence could be seen throughout the stock car divisions at the speedway and many of the areas speedways. From participating in speedway events and providing the wrecker service to sponsoring and providing guidance to many drivers.

Eash, himself, a many time feature winner in the street stock class including nine wins at Silver Springs Speedway. Those victories put him ninth on the all time win list at the historical central pa speedway.

Eash’s Towing and Salvage was a staple at Linda’s Speedway for years. George and his wife, Deb, provided the speedway with many years of support but more importantly a lasting friendship.


On Friday September 16, 2022 the speedway will host the George Eash “Living Legends” Tribute night. Gates will open at 5 and hot laps will be at 7.

The Charger Championship will headline the nights racing activities.

Admission to the grandstands remains at $5 for adults.
