Appalachian Auto LLC has joined the growing list of supports for this weeks Charger Championship race.
The race was originally going to pay the winner $500. That will now jump to $700 to win the biggest 4 Cyl race of the season at the track.
The event will now also go from $50 to start to $60 to take the green.
Steven Dove Fence Co. has added to the purse as well to bring the winners share and starters money higher than originally advertised.
Amongst other sponsorship that will award cash prizes to heat race winners, hard charger, hard luck, and lap leaders.
The entry forms are available on LindasSpeedway.com or at the speedway for all of the big end of the season events.
The Charger Championship race will be part of the Sept 17 Breast Cancer Awareness Night in which the speedway will come together to show support for Eunice Heist in her battle with breast cancer. Eunice and her family have been consistent supporters of Linda’s Speedway through many years of racing including a championship season for her son Brandon in 2020 in the Wingless 600 Micro Sprints.
Racing Friday Sept 17 will be the Chargers, 270 and Wingless 600 Micro Sprints, and the Modifieds.
Gates open at 5 with hot laps starting at 7 and racing will follow.
