Linda’s Speedway held their annual practice day on Friday, April 2.
It was the first time in recent memory the speedway was able to beat the weather and host the event in which 70 cars took laps in preparation for the 2021 racing season.
Tyler Henry put down the fastest lap of the night in his Winged 600 Micro Sprint with a 12.472 and an average speed of 75mph.
Linda’s Speedway will swing into official racing next Friday, April 9, with the Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, $1000 to win, Wing Night for the winged 600 Micro Sprints, plus the 270 Micro Sprints, and the Slingshots.
Gates open at 5 with hot laps starting at 7:00. General admission for the grandstands is only $5 for this racing season. Pit admission will be $25.
Car entry for the 600 Micro Sprints is $50 until race day in which it will go to $60. This event will pay $1,000 to win, $400 for fifth, and $125 to take the green.
