TK Doubles Up; Hollenbach nets 10th Charger Win

Tommy Kunsman made a move mid-way through the race of the Mt. Gretna Roller Rink 270 Micro Sprint feature race to go by Richie Hartman to claim his 30th career Linda’s Speedway win. Hartman finished second followed by Billy Logeman, Scott Gingrich, and Austin Graby.

Tommy Kunsman Jr and Mike Boyer won the heat races.

Nash Ely grabbed the lead off the drop of the green flag in the Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic and Hyper Racing Wingless 600 Micro Sprint feature. Tommy Kunsman took advantage of a restart to go by Ely to take the checkered flag. Ely, Joey Amantea, Jesse Maurer, and Dakota Barlet rounded out the top five.

Kunsman, Mike Thompson, Tyler Brehm were heat race winners with Riley Emig winning the consolation.

Logan Rumsey held off a hard charging Jesse Maurer to claim the Winged Outlaw 600 Micro Sprint feature. Pj Williams was third with Mike Thompson and Garyt Smith the top five.

Ed Hollenbach held off advances from Darrel Wagner and then Dale Kreiser to take his first win of the season in the Chargers. The checkered flag was Hollenbach’s tenth in the Appalachian Auto Chargers. Kreiser came across second with Wagner in tail. Nick Ruhl and Chris Smith rounded out the top five.

Troy Hostetter and Dale Kresier won heat races.

After a tight battle in lap traffic Justin Harrington held off Marty Brian in the closing laps of the Mongoose Chassis 125/4 Stroke Micro Sprint feature. Alex Lukacs was third with Austin Graby and Matt Fernsler rounding out the top five.

In the first race of the season for the Restricted 600 Micro Sprints it was Jacob Homnick taking the win. Dominic Schmidt was second with Trent Warner third. Kenny Beinhower rounded out the field.

Next Friday, July 3, at Linda’s Speedway will be the “Big One” for the 125 Micro Sprints along with the open 4cyl stock cars in competition. The 270 and Winged 600 Micro Sprints will also be in action during the holiday weekend.

The Open 4 Cyl Rules are 4 Cyl Engine, Roll Cage, Radial DoT Tires, Pump Gas (110 max) and car must pass safety inspection.
