Linda's Speedway remains red for 2020
Unfortunately, today, we did not get the update from the governor that we were hoping for. We remained one of the red phase areas that will have a higher restriction on activities and gatherings. Although this was not what our hope was, we will continue to work to the best of our ability to prepare ourselves when the chance arises for us to return to our Friday night racing.
At this time, the speedway will remain closed for racing and can not host events until further notice.
“I can’t stress enough that we want to race, but we also want to be in business in ten years. Keeping an eye on our end game is crucial right now. We are working with our township, local government officials, and community to try to put everything in place to race as soon as possible without burning bridges that we have worked decades to build. At this point, it looks like we won’t be the first racetrack to open in Pennsylvania, but we fully intend to make the most of the time we are given. We are coming back strong!”
