Schott, Miller, Speece, Smith, & Williams Saturday Showdown Winners

In the Jr Animal feature Cheyanna Hottenstein jumped to the top spot ahead of Chase Schott. Schott pressured Hottensten for the top spot until the two got together on lap 11 of the 20 lap feature. Anthony Speece inherited the race lead. Speece led until his chain came off just after taking the white flag. Schott had run from the back to run second. Schott won out in the one lap shootout for the victory over Rileigh Kramer, Hottensten, Jase Smith, Brody Payonk, and Speece.

Hottensten and Schott were heat race winners for the Jr Animals.

The lead was exchanged between Ryder Miller, Brody Payonk, and Anthony Speece for much of the Jr Honda feature event before Speece secured the race lead for good. Speece led the final six laps and took the checkered flag over Cheyanna Hottenstein and Miller. Jase Smith was fourth followed by Cadin Smith, Kaiden Klotz, and Payonk.

Cadin Smith and Brody Payonk were the heat winners.

Chase Schott used a big inside move on the start to take the lead from Michael Zehring in the Sr Honda feature. Schott led every lap under extreme pressure from Karter Kunsman. Schott led Kunsman, Zehring and Billy Buckshot at the finish.

Kunsman and Zehring won heat races for the Sr Honda.

Colton Williams led every lap of the 160 feature holding off various challengers. Williams led Karter Kunsman (who started last) and Anthony Speece across the line at the checkered flag. Michael Zehring was fourth and Chase Schott was fifth. Rileigh Kramer and Taylor Kramer rounded out the field.

Taylor Kramer and Anthony Speece won heat races.

Easton Miller and Taylor Kramer battled fiercely for the win in the World Formula feature event. Kramer had the top spot on lock until lap 28 when Miller took over for good. Miller saw the checkered flag first ahead of Colton Williams, Kramer, and Michael Zehring.

Cadin Smith jumped to the race lead in the Red Plate Novice feature event and led each of the 15 laps on his way to the checkered flag. Smith bested the field of Jason Kramer and Riley Shaffer.

Smith won both heat races for the novice.

J&J Auto Body partnered with Little Linda’s Speedway to help supply the racers with bags of chips for the pill draw and victory pennants for the winners.

Gates will open at 5:00 and racing will start at 6:10.

Registration will be $20 for the first car and $10 for a second car. A crew charge will be assessed at $15 a trailer. There is no membership cost or hidden fee’s.
