Underdog Davis Wins Novice; Schott, Williams, Smith Repeat

Every driver in the Novice feature took a spot at the front of the field. Mason Glass led the most laps at the front before he was spun out of the lead late in the race. The yellow flag gave the race lead to Andrew Davis. Davis, in his first Little Linda’s Speedway start, held on to the lead until the checkered flag. Glass was second followed by Caden Smith and Riley Shaffer.

Riley Shaffer was the Novice heat race winner.

Caden Smith started from the pole and led every lap of the Jr. Honda feature over McKenzi Smith who contended for the lead much of the event. Brianna Snyder was third followed by Mason Glass (from eighth) and Jake Lidie.

Brayden Natale, Jase Smith, Kayla Glass, and Daron Reppert were the finishing field.

Cadin Smith and Brianna Snyder were heat winners for the Jr Honda.

Chase Schott showed the way at the start of the Sr. Honda before Karter Kunsman took the top spot. Kunsman was the race leader and involved with a hard charging Aiden Lutz in a battle for the win. The two leaders tangled in turn two on the last lap that ended with Lutz stopped and Kunsman upside down. Both drivers were okay and continued the race. The incident did hand the lead over to Chase Schott on his way to the win. Billy Buckshot ended up second followed by Brayden Natale, Daron Reppert, and McKenzie Smith.

Kunsman, Lutz, and Kayla Glass were the field.

Chase Schott and Karter Kunsman won Sr. Honda heat races.

Colton Williams drew the four invert, but still raced his way to the front wo win the 160 feature on Tuesday night. Dylan Holmes and Chase Schott lead the first six laps before Williams took command. Schott and Alyssa Holmes waged an incredible battle for second in the closing laps. Holmes finished second and Schott finished third. Karter Kunsman and Dylan Homles were the top five. Adams Davis was sixth.

Colton Williams won the 160 heat race from last.

Chase Schott ran from the rear of the Jr. Animal feature to take the win over Brianna Snyder and Jase Smith.

Schott won the Jr. Animal heat race.

Little Linda’s Speedway swings back into next Tuesday, July 16th, in the final tune-up before the Saturday showdown on Saturday July 20th. July 16th racing will feature the red plate novice, junior and senior Honda, 160, and the world formula. Gates will open at 5:00 and racing will start at 6:10.

Registration will be $20 for the first car and $10 for a second car. A crew charge will be assessed at $15 a trailer. There is no membership cost or hidden fee’s.
