Cliff Brian Jr. Cashes In; Miller and Bealer Winners

The 125 / 4 Stroke Micro Sprint feature left little disappointment to the buildup that it had the last couple of weeks. Cliff Brian Jr. lead the field early on until lap 12 when Austin Graby was able to wrestle the lead away. A lap 17 restart allowed Brian to work his way back into the top spot around Graby on a restart and he would stay there for good. Graby got tagged by another car on the restart an lost a chain taking him out of contention. Tommy Phipps Jr. charged from the back of the field after being in an early race yellow to finish second. AJ Gerhart, Mike Glass, and Marty Brian were the top five finishers.

Sixth through tenth place finishes went to Barbie Eichorn, Alex Lucas, Olivia Pellicciotti, JT Ferry, and Emily Dove.

Heat races were won by Mike Glass, Aj Gerhart, and Olivia Pellicciotti.

Defending national open champion Hayden Miller didn't even have plans of racing Friday night at Linda’s Speedway but took full advantage of his opportunity to drive the Randy Kunkle own number 91 to Victory Lane for his first win of the season at Linda’s Speedway . Miller had to dodge lab traffic and a leaking coolant system to take the checkered flag.

Kameron Morral worked his way through traffic to take second from eighth. Jesse Snyder finished out the podium finishers. Jesse Maurer and Mike Thompson both came from outside the top ten starting spots to finished fourth and fifth.

Kameron Morral and Joey Amantea took heat race wins for the 600 Micro Sprints presented by Hyper Racing and Hooiser Tire.

Pat Bealer got one lap in 270 Micro Sprint Time trials on Friday night before his car broke. Bealer would not be shaken as he recovered to not only win his heat race but also take the race lead away from Mike Boyer in the feature event on his way to his second time trial win of the season. The defending national open champion raced his way through lapped traffic winning by over two seconds. Alex Swift, one of Bealer biggest competitors come October, finished in the runner up spot. Mike Boyer, Bill Gray, and Ben Stolz were the top five finishers in Friday nights Freedom 25.

Next Friday , July 12, will be camera an autograph night at Linda’s Speedway were fans get to meet the drivers on the front stretch before the feature events. The 270 micro sprints, wingless 600 micro sprints slingshots, modifieds and restricted 600 micro sprints will all be racing.

Don't forget we're just weeks away from the only Midget race of the year at Linda’s Speedway on Friday August 2nd. NOS Energy USAC National Midget series make their only stop to Jonestown on that weekend along with the 600 micro sprint Speedweek.
