The second race of the 2019 season at Little Linda’s Speedway produced some of the most intense racing to date.
The Novice feature provided a first time winner when Cadin Smith took the race lead away from Aiden Willingham on the start of the feature from his fourth starting spot. Smith held off challenges from Daron Reppert in the last few laps on the event for his first Little Linda’s Speedway win. Reppert was second followed by Mason Glass, Dakota Rote, and Gavin Wolfe.
Riley Shaffer was sixth ahead of Jayden Stelter and Aiden Willingham.
Willingham and Reppert were Novice heat race winners.
Four different drivers exchanged the race lead in the Jr Honda feature on Tuesday night. Anthony Speece jumped into the race lead at the drop of the green flag. Fifth place starter Bryaden Natale soon took over the top spot and led until the white flag when a crash took Natale from the top spot. Jase Smith held off Jacob Cannaday in a one lap shootout at the end for the win. Daron Reppert, McKenzi Smith, and Kayla Glass were the top five finishers.
Natale was sixth with Mason Glass, Anthony Speece, and Caiden Smith in chase across the line.
Speece and Smith took heat race wins for the Jr Honda.
Anthony Speece led early in the Sr Honda feature event before Chase Schott made the winning pass on lap four of the feature event. Schott negotiated through lap traffic with perfection on his way to the win holding challenges at the end from Karter Kunsman. Schott and Kunsman were joined by Michael Zehring in the top three. McKenzi Smith and Speece were the top five finishers.
Jase Smith was sixth followed by Brayden Natale, Aiden Lutz, Kayla Glass, and Billy Buckshot.
Kunsman and Schott took checkered flags in Sr Honda heat races.
Michael Zehring gave way to Chase Schott early in the World Formula season opening feature. Schott soon had a familiar face on his rear bumper as Colton Williams pulled into second. Williams would settle there for the remainder of the event though with Schott taking the win. Williams and Zehring were the top three finishers. Hayin Ort and Dylan Holmes rounds out the top five finishers.
Colton Williams won the World Formula heat race.
The 160 feature was postponed to June 11. Colton Williams won the heat race. The starting line up for the make up feature will be:

3- 10s Chase Schott
4- 27 Dylan Holmes
5- 32k Karter Kunsman
6- 15 Alyssa Holmes
7- 420 Kaydance Rote
The next race at Little Linda’s Speedway will be held on Tuesday June 11. The Jr Animal will be back along with the Novice, Jr and Sr Honda, and 160 classes.
Mark your calendar for when little Linda’s Speedway returns to Saturday racing for the first time in two years on Saturday July 20 for the Saturday Showdown.
Registration will be $20 for the first car and $10 for a second car. A crew charge will be assessed at $15 a trailer. There is no membership cost or hidden fee’s.
