Attempt Seven: Everything you need to know

For the seventh time in 2019 Linda’s Speedway will attempt to start this racing season. This is the longest the speedway has ever gone before an opening night was completed.

Completely rained out events in April have given way to partial rain outs in May with cars arriving to the speedway the last two weeks.

Friday May 17 will be the final chance to use the raincheck wristbands or tickets from the May 3 race that featured the 270 and Wingless 600 Micro Sprints along with the Slingshots and Modifieds.

The raincheck from May 10’s King of the Wing Time Trial series, Winged 600 Micro Sprint, Modified, Charger, and Restricted 600 Micro Sprint event can be used Friday May 17 or May 24 baring a weather issue.

If you can not attend any of these events and would like a refund you may mail your wristbands or tickets to the speedway with a self-addressed stamped envelope for a refund. The mail must be received within 30 days on the rained out event.

Friday May 17 Linda’s Speedway will present a four division show with the 270 and Wingless 600 Micro Sprints in action along with the Slingshots and Chargers.

Car entries are being held for drivers upon their return to the speedway unless noted otherwise.

The first race in the Race to the Chase for the Slingshots is this Friday and is presented by 600cc Performance. Their roots in the CC racing community run deep. With 15+ years experience building cars, wiring, dyno tuning and diagnosing a wide variety of vehicles using motorcycle engines, chief mechanic and tuner, Ryan Greth brings the necessary tools and knowledge to keep you running in the front of the pack!

Friday May 24 Linda’s Speedway will return the annual running of the Jonestown Throwdown. The Throwdown will feature the Open 4 cyl racing it has in the past. The Open 4 Cyl Rules are 4 Cyl Engine, Roll Cage, Radial DoT Tires, Pump Gas (110 max) and car must pass safety inspection. Last year Brian Wentzel took the front row challenge and did the impossible driving from last to win and cash in on the bonus! What new feature will be added to the excitement this year?

The 270,Wingless 600, and restricted 600 Micro Sprints and Modifieds will be on the card as well.
