The last remaining outlaw is no longer just a movie. The final “outlaw” tracks in central Pa have joined sanctioning bodies, leaving only one, Little Linda’s Speedway.
“We aren’t looking to allow ridiculous things or go against the grind,” said Little Linda’s Speedway race director Michael Batz. “We just aren’t at a place to go in that direction right now. We have a strong schedule for 2019, we continue to make improvements, and hopefully some teams will try our program out this season.”
2019 will offer six divisions of racing at the race track located on the inside of Linda’s Speedway in Jonestown, Pa. Weekly competition for the Novice, Jr & Sr Honda, and 160 will continue in the new season. World Formula and Jr Animal classes will alternate during the season to compete with the weekly classes.
There will not be a membership fee or work duties to compete at the speedway.
The Knight before the King of the Wing, Saturday Showdown, and National Open will highlight a busy new year schedule. The Saturday Showdown will be a non-point event.
Brayden Natale, Chase Schott, and Dylan Holmes are reigning champions at Little Linda’s Speedway. Schedule, Rules, and more information will be added to the Little Linda’s Speedway web site and Facebook pages over the next few weeks. You can also follow LLS on Instagram.
