Kunsman joins repeat winners Schott and Holmes

Little Linda's Speedway held the postponed July 24 race on Tuesday July 31 just beating out the oncoming rain. The final points race leading into championship night on August 7 set the stage for a fantastic finish to the point paying season. Karter Kunsman bolted to the race lead of the Novice feature from his second starting spot and led all 15 laps on his way to his first win at Little Linda's Speedway. Mason Glass kept pressure on the leader on a late race restart, but settled for second. Brayden Natale, Brianna Snyder, and Kayla Glass rounded out the top five finishers. Jase Smith finished out the field. Karter Kunsman won the heat race for the Novice. Chase Schott rebounded from an early race yellow flag in the Jr Honda feature to take the win on Tuesday night edging out Tanalyn Smith. Smith edged out her brother Jase to finish out the podium finishers. Karter Kunsman and Michael Zehring were the top five. Anthony Speece, Reice Widger, and Brianna Snyder made up the rest of the field. Anthony Speece and Brianna Snyder won heat races for the Jr Honda cars. For the second race on the night Chase Schott beat Tanalyn Smith to the line. This time it was the Sr Honda feature event. Aiden Lutz, Colton Williams, and Reice Widger were the top five with Alyssa Holmes rounding out the field. Aiden Lutz won the Sr Honda heat race. Dylan Holmes and Colton Williams exchanged the lead in the 160 heat race before Holmes was able to snag the win. The two returned for the feature event with Holmes fending off all the challenges on Williams on his way to the win. Dylan Holmes continued his winning ways in the World Formula feature racing holding off Billy Buckshot for the victory. Holmes also won the heat race. The scenario is laid out for Tuesday August 7 Championship Night at Little Linda's Speedway. The Novice top three, Brayden Natale, Mason Glass, and Kayla Glass are only separated by four points. Chase Schott leads Aiden Lutz by one point going into the next race. The season finale is set for August 21 with the first ever Little Linda's Speedway National Open. Registration is $20 for the first class and $10 for any additional classes. Spectators are free admission.
