Rain wins out for second week

For the second week in a row rain will overcome the efforts of Linda's Speedway to complete the season opening event for 2017. Next Friday, April 14, will be the opening event of the season and the annual Steve Buch Memorial presented by JRM Pallets.

The season will kick off with the Winged 600 Micro Sprints presented by Hoosier Tire along with the Gutshall’s Automotive 125 Micro Sprints. The Xcel 600 Modified tour will be competing as well in the Joe Josko Memorial 50. The Modified race will be the makeup from the rained out event from 2016.

The Jersey Joe’s Boardwalk Café 270 Micro Sprint portion of the race will be the opening event of the Titan Wings Time Trial Series Fuels by Roadrunner Race Fuels. The 270 Micro Sprints will run Time Trials and a format similar to past years. Various contingency prizes will be available to the drivers in competition. This is a point paying event for both the Series and the Speedway.
